Note about yesterday: Lomo Arigatohad something come up, and Ranchero Chido's truck was out of commission. Ranchero Chido will be back this Friday and Lomo Arigato will let me know when they plan to return. Apologies to those who showed up looking for them, but if I don't receive advance notice, there's nothing I can do. Stuff happens.

The Pokey Truck
11:30 - 1:30 Menu Not your average sushi truck. Hawaiian version of Japanese sashimi. Bite-sized pieces of raw fish doused in seasonings. I've had the "burrito" with the spicy tuna and crab - YUM! Basically a sushi roll the size of a burrito, made with soy/rice paper instead of sea weed.
Custom ice cream sandwiches. You pick the cookie, then pick the ice cream and you've got your own unique creation. You can double, triple, quadruple stack 'em too; as many as you can eat!

Grass-fed mini burgers. Hormone and steroid free. Lower in saturated fats and higher in beta carotene, vitamin E, Omega 3s, calcium, magnesium and potassium than regular corn-fed beef. Better for you AND the planet. Plus, they taste great! Try the rosemary & garlic fries too!
Made to order deli sandwiches, heroes, hoagies, torpedoes, subs and grinders. Turkey, roast beef, Italian, veggie, meatball, chicken parmigiana, roasted pork or fried prosciutto. Sides are potato salad, coleslaw, tortellini salad or potato chips.
Thai street favorites like Pad Thai, garlic pepper pork, basil beef, egg rolls, crab rangoon, Thai iced tea and fried rice. If you like spicy, go for the basil beef - WOW!

Available in a variety of combinations such as bacon, guacamole, blue cheese, Italian sausage, pesto sauce, caramelized balsamic onion reduction, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, chipotle sauce, and roasted red peppers. They also have chicken, pork or veggie sandwiches. And yes, they have a burger using a grilled donut for the bun. It is AMAZING!
Indonesian skewers and Asian fusion. Chicken, beef, spicy pork, shrimp and tofu sate, Asian salad, fruit salad, sweet potato fries, rice and veggie spring rolls.
Asian fusion rolls. Not just fish; Korean BBQ beef, lobster, barbacoa, spam, and vegetarian options. In rolls, tacos or quesadillas.

12:00 - 2:00 Menu Hawaiian style shave ice. Made with fluffy snow, not snow cone ice. Huge variety of flavors. Gluten, lactose and fat free. Vegan and low calorie. Perfect treat for a warm day like today.

Juicy fried chicken and crispy fries. Homemade sauces and lavender biscuits. Freshly-chopped slaw made from scratch. From Chef Ludo Lefebvre. Both this truck and Kogi were on "Layover with Anthony Bourdain" on the Travel Channel last night.

Amazing 7 oz. burgers with all kinds of unique toppings like fennel sausage gravy, cranberry gastrique, munchos, cream cheese, beer-soaked onions, peanut butter and jelly, pickles, BBQ sauce, pineapple and the traditional lettuce and tomato. They've even got one where the bun is 2 grilled cheese sandwiches!
