Food Trucks at Universal Studios
A silly little blog about the food trucks at South Weddington Park, and sometimes stuff about Pugs.
Not your average sushi truck. Hawaiian version of
Japanese sashimi. Bite-sized
pieces of raw fish doused in seasonings. I've
had the "burrito" with the spicy tuna and crab
- YUM! Basically a sushi roll the size
of a burrito, made with soy/rice paper
instead of sea weed.
New to Uni! Crab nachos, oyster po' boys, scallop caprese, lobster mac
'n' cheese, tempura shrimp tacos, and salmon burgettes. Sides include
onion rings, grilled vegetables, and fries. (They were supposed to be here last Thursday, but they had truck problems).
Thai
street favorites like Pad Thai, garlic pepper pork,
basil beef, egg rolls, crab rangoon, Thai iced tea and
fried rice. If you like spicy, go for the basil beef -
WOW!
