A silly little blog about the food trucks at South Weddington Park, and sometimes stuff about Pugs.
Pita
sandwiches made with falafel balls or chicken. Falafels balls are a
wonderful mesh of grounded
garbanzo beans, various veggies, and spices. Fried to create a
delicious crunchy outer shell, then placed in a made-fresh- daily bread
pocket with your combination choice of vegetables, pickled veggies, and
dressings.
Hot
and cold Italian sandwiches made with ham, prosciutto, turkey, salami,
provolone, mozzarella, eggplant, peppers, spinach, artichokes,
meatballs, pesto or chicken parmigiana.
American Bistro Cuisine. Grass fed burgers with apple jicama cole slaw and blue
cheese, grass-fed beef sliders, pulled pork sandwich with cilantro cole slaw,
sliders same way. Chicken pesto sandwich with tomato and provolone cheese, and grilled
cheese on tomato basil bread with harvati cheese, cheddar and blue cheese. Garlic fries, fried spinach and fries for sides.
Soul, Cajun, and more. Jambalaya, gumbo, mac & cheese, pork chops,
wings, catfish, jerk chicken, red beans & rice, and smothered
cabbage. Also serving Willie's Waffles & Chicken; waffles topped with chicken and grits.
Lots of unique and speciality burgers, available with beef,
turkey, or veggie patties. House cut French fries. I LOVE the Executive burger.
