Trucks for Wednesday 3/19
NOTE: I will be on vacation 3/20 through 3/25 and will not be updating the blog during this time. To track the trucks, follow @UniFoodTrucks on Twitter. I've told them to mention my Twitter name in their tweets. As for today's trucks, they are:
A variety of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, sliders, and tortas, made with chicken, shrimp, pork, beef,
tilapia, barbacoa, al pastor, meatballs, carne asade, and more! Menu changes daily.
We offer only the best and very original
Peruvian style cooked food such as Rotisserie Chicken, Lomo Saltado (filet
Mignon sautéed with French fries, onions and tomatoes, served over a bed of
rice pilaf) - this is to die for...), we also offer Cau Cau (made with cow's
stomach, Potatoes and rice). It is very good. We also have sandwiches, and beverages.
Grass-fed
mini burgers. Hormone and steroid free.
Lower in saturated fats and higher in beta
carotene, vitamin E, Omega 3s, calcium, magnesium
and potassium than regular corn-fed beef. Better
for you AND the planet. Plus, they taste great! Try the rosemary & garlic fries too!
I live near the park and can post what trucks I see. There is notice of filming food trucks at the park tomorrow (Thursday), so I expect it to be busy with some new trucks showing up!
