Trucks for Thursday 9/29/11

Flying Pig
12:00 - 2:00
Menu

Back at Uni for the first time in almost a year!  A fusion of Asian and Pacific Rim flavors with a French technique.  Carne asada, smoked chicken, spicy pork or tamarind duck tacos.  Crunchy tofu or pork belly on a steamed bao bun.  Beef and pork-blend sliders on a sweet Hawaiian bun.  Check them out!

CambalaCHE's Gourmet
12:00 - 2:30
Menu

Argentinean cuisine.  Skirt steak, Argentinean sausage, chimichurri, filet mignon sandwiches. I tried the special which was a steak sandwich, cheese, and grilled onions, and it was REALLY good.

Glowfish
12:00 - 2:30
Menu

Japanese cuisine.  Okonomiyaki, Teppan Yaki, and Katsu.  This truck looks VERY interesting.  The majority of the Yelp reviews are 5 star, so I hope to try them today as I missed them the last 2 times they were here.

Mossie Lee's
12:00 - 2:30
Facebook page

Southern specialties and unique burgers and tacos.  Daily specials like catfish, brisket and ribs.

L.A Shave Ice
12:00 - 2:00
Menu

Hawaiian style shave ice.  Made with fluffy snow, not snow cone ice.  Huge variety of flavors.  Gluten, lactose and fat free.  Vegan and low calorie.  Perfect treat for a hot day like today.

Antonia's Nuts
11:30 - 2:00
Menu

Caramelized pecans and Bavarian almonds.  Pecans also available covered in milk, dark or white chocolate.  Mmmmm......chocolate....
