A silly little blog about the food trucks at South Weddington Park, and sometimes stuff about Pugs.
Not your average sushi truck. Hawaiian version of Japanese sashimi. Bite-sized pieces of raw fish doused in seasonings. I had the "burrito" with the spicy tuna and crab on Wednesday - YUM! Basically a sushi roll the size of a burrito, made with soy/rice paper instead of sea weed.
One of my favorite trucks. Really awesome tacos. My favorite is the taco dorado con carne - SO good! They've got chicken, shrimp, pork belly, tuna, and potato tacos. Hard or soft shell. Regular or VERY spicy.
Homemade/Handmade hot dogs using 100% beef brisket. Available with a variety of toppings like cheese, chili, onions, pickles, bacon, etc. I tried one of these last week and I must say, the hot dog was REALLY good; even without any toppings.
Bacon, Bacon, Bacon! French toast filled with bacon, bacon bourbon maple syrup, chicken wings in bacon hot sauce, BLT with blue cheese, and brownies with bacon nutella spread. You've GOT to try the "baco", bacon woven into a taco-shaped shell and filled with potatoes and cheese. Also, the BLT is AWESOME.
This truck is SO yummy! A variety of American and Foreign flavor combinations in sandwiches, tacos, quesadillas and tocadillas. I loved the three different things I tried last week.
