Trucks for Tuesday 10/25/11

Knockout Tacos
11:15 - 2:00
Menu

One of my favorite trucks.  Really awesome tacos.  My favorite is the taco dorado con carne - SO good!  They've got chicken, shrimp, pork belly, tuna, and potato tacos.

Kogi BBQ
11:30 - 2:30
Menu

Korean BBQ in tacos, quesadillas, burritos and sliders. The truck that started it all.

Calbi BBQ
12:00 - 2:00
Menu

Korean/Mexican fusion.  Short rib, chicken, spicy pork or grilled shrimp in tacos, burritos and quesadillas.  They also offer a short rib and sticky-rice bowl - a full 20 oz!

The Pokey Truck
12:00 - 2:00
Menu

Not your average sushi truck.  Hawaiian version of Japanese sashimi.  Bite-sized pieces of raw fish doused in seasonings.  I've had the "burrito" with the spicy tuna and crab - YUM!  Basically a sushi roll the size of a burrito, made with soy/rice paper instead of sea weed.

OG Tempura
11:00 - 3:00

Teriyaki, Tempura, soft shell crab, spicy tuna, steak, shrimp, turkey, short ribs, and fish and chips.  A co-worker had the short ribs and LOVED them.  Said they were just like the ones she used to get in Hawaii when she lived there.

Curb A Peel
11:30 - 2:30
Menu

Another yummy truck!  A variety of American and Foreign flavor combinations in sandwiches, tacos, quesadillas and tocadillas.  I've loved everything I've tried so far.

Cool Haus
11:30 - 2:30
Menu

Custom ice cream sandwiches.  You pick the cookie, then pick the ice cream and you've got your own unique creation. You can double, triple, quadruple stack 'em too; as many as you can eat!

Video of the Day - Frenchie wants his toy, dammit!
