A silly little blog about the food trucks at South Weddington Park, and sometimes stuff about Pugs.
Gourmet
Mexican favorites. Citrus chicken, Yucatan pork, carne
asada, and potato rajas tacos, quesadillas, burritos, Peruvian ceviche,
green corn tamals, quinoa fritters, cumin fries, churro tots, and
daily specials. Created by two winners of Bravo's "Top
Chef."
Reuben, Rachel, and pastrami sandwiches. A variety of melts (tuna salad, turkey patties, cheddar cheese and grilled onions), along with soups, salads, and desserts.
Not your average sushi truck. Hawaiian version of
Japanese sashimi. Bite-sized
pieces of raw fish doused in seasonings. I've
had the "burrito" with the spicy tuna and crab
- YUM! Basically a sushi roll the size
of a burrito, made with soy/rice paper
instead of sea weed.
Burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and wings with Mexican influences.
