A silly little blog about the food trucks at South Weddington Park, and sometimes stuff about Pugs.
Amazing 7 oz. burgers with all kinds of unique toppings like fennel sausage gravy, cranberry gastrique, munchos, cream cheese, beer-soaked onions, peanut butter and jelly, pickles, BBQ sauce, pineapple and the traditional lettuce and tomato. They've even got one where the bun is 2 grilled cheese sandwiches!
Comfort food with a conscience. A variety of salads, mac & cheese, baby back ribs, kabobs, wings, burgers made with regular or Kobe beef, chicken, or veggie. Waffle fries and Wachos - Nachos made with waffle fries.
Not your average sushi truck. Hawaiian version of Japanese sashimi. Bite-sized pieces of raw fish doused in seasonings. I've had the "burrito" with the spicy tuna and crab - YUM! Basically a sushi roll the size of a burrito, made with soy/rice paper instead of sea weed.
Thai street favorites like pad Thai, garlic pepper pork, basil beef, egg rolls, crab rangoon, Thai iced tea and fried rice. If you like spicy, go for the basil beef - WOW!
